2.1 These Terms apply to customers who use Bedford Gym & Swim facilities without holding an active membership ("non-members").
2.2 These Terms apply to single-session bookings, including but not limited to gym use, swimming, classes, and personal training sessions.
2.3 These Terms do not create a membership or any ongoing contractual relationship.
2.4 Membership terms, including direct debit arrangements and cancellation provisions, apply only to members and do not apply to bookings made under these Terms.
3.1 Sessions should be booked in advance via our website or approved booking system, unless otherwise agreed by management.
3.2 Bookings are valid only for the specific date, time, and session selected.
3.3 Access is limited to the duration of the booked session.
3.4 If you arrive late, we may not be able to extend your session or offer a transfer or refund.
3.5 Bedford Gym & Swim may refuse entry or remove any customer who breaches these Terms or whose behaviour poses a risk to themselves or others.
4.1 All sessions must be paid for in full at the time of booking.
4.2 Payment must be made using the methods made available at the time of purchase.
4.3 We do not offer credit or deferred payment options for these bookings.
5.1 Customers are required to create an account in order to make a booking.
5.2 Customers should ensure that all information provided during account registration is accurate and kept up to date.
5.3 By creating an account, customers confirm that they meet the eligibility requirements to use the facilities in accordance with these Terms.
5.4 Bedford Gym & Swim may suspend or refuse access to any account where false, misleading, or incomplete information has been provided.
6.1 Bookings are generally non-refundable and non-transferable. This includes non-attendance, late arrival, or early departure.
6.2 Management discretion: Bedford Gym & Swim may, at its discretion, make exceptions in exceptional circumstances. Any such discretion is applied on a case-by-case basis and does not create an entitlement or precedent.
6.3 Cancellations by Bedford Gym & Swim: If we cancel a session, we will, where reasonably possible, offer:
7.1 Bedford Gym & Swim may offer multi-session or bulk ticket packages (e.g. packs of sessions) at a discounted rate.
7.2 These sessions are credited to the customer's account and may be used to book eligible sessions within the applicable validity period.
7.3 Bulk session purchases are non-refundable and non-transferable.
7.4 Each session booked using a bulk package is subject to these Terms, including cancellation and no-show provisions.
7.5 Bulk sessions must be used within the stated validity period at the time of purchase. Any unused sessions after this period will expire and will not usually be refunded or extended.
7.6 Bedford Gym & Swim may amend or withdraw bulk ticket offerings at any time.
8.1 Customers may only use the facilities included within their booked session.
8.2 Customers must follow all safety signage, facility rules, and staff instructions at all times.
8.3 Certain areas or activities may have age restrictions or specific requirements, which must be followed.
8.4 Bedford Gym & Swim may restrict or refuse access where reasonably necessary for safety, maintenance, or operational reasons.
8.5 Bedford Gym & Swim reserves the right to make final decisions regarding compliance with facility rules, including appropriate attire and behaviour.
9.1 Customers aged 18 and over may attend and use facilities independently.
9.2 Customers under the age of 18 must be accompanied and supervised at all times by a responsible adult aged 18 or over.
9.3 Certain areas and activities (including the gym floor, sauna, and steam room) are restricted to customers aged 18 and over.
9.4 The accompanying adult is responsible for the safety, supervision, and behaviour of any person under the age of 18 in their care at all times.
9.5 Bedford Gym & Swim reserves the right to request proof of age where reasonably required.
10.1 Additional rules apply depending on the activity, including but not limited to swimming, gym use, classes, and spa facilities.
10.2 These rules include health and safety requirements, dress codes (including swimwear policy), and equipment usage guidelines.
10.3 These rules are displayed on-site, on our website, and/or communicated by staff and form part of these Terms.
10.4 Customers are responsible for ensuring they understand and comply with all applicable rules prior to and during their visit.
11.1 Customers are responsible for ensuring they are medically and physically able to participate safely in their chosen activity.
11.2 If you have a medical condition, injury, or concern that may affect your ability to participate safely, you should seek appropriate advice and inform staff where necessary.
11.3 Bedford Gym & Swim may refuse access where there is a reasonable concern for health or safety.
12.1 Customers are responsible for their personal belongings at all times.
12.2 Lockers may be provided but are used at the customer's own risk.
12.3 Bedford Gym & Swim is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal property unless caused by our negligence.
13.1 Customers must behave respectfully and considerately towards staff and other users at all times.
13.2 Abusive, aggressive, or inappropriate behaviour may result in removal from the premises without refund.
13.3 Customers must follow all reasonable instructions given by staff.
13.4 Photography or filming may be restricted in certain areas for privacy and safeguarding reasons.
14.1 Where children or vulnerable persons are present, safeguarding rules apply.
14.2 Parents, guardians, or carers are responsible for those in their care at all times.
14.3 Bedford Gym & Swim may take appropriate action where necessary to protect all users of the facility.
15.1 Customers use the facilities at their own risk.
15.2 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
15.3 Bedford Gym & Swim shall not be liable for injury, loss, or damage except where caused by our negligence.
We are not responsible for any failure or delay caused by events outside our reasonable control.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will be available on our website. Continued use of our facilities indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.
Any discretion exercised does not constitute a waiver of rights or set a precedent.
